Instituto Politécnico de Bragança's Data repository
The data repository facilitates the storage, management, preservation, and use of research data prepared or gathered by IPB researchers or in collaborative research projects with other national or international institutions. Depositing research data in the IPB's data repository guarantees good curation practices, long-term preservation, and greater scientific dissemination.

What is a Dataverse?

A Dataverse represents the set of one or more Datasets or Dataverses. Researchers can create Dataverses to place datasets from their own research projects, and/or directly deposit Datasets in their Institutional Dataverse. Dataverse accepts all types of file formats, including tabular, text, image and more.

What is a Dataset?

A Dataset is a particular set of data for a particular set of research data (this can include research data, code and documentation).

Goals

- Allow controlled access under prior identification;
- Associate re-use licences and explain the terms of use;
- Document the datasets with metadata;
